We are looking for an experienced Italian cook to work independently in our kitchen in Berlin-Neukölln.
We are a small Italian restaurant in Berlin with around 40 seats, focused on authentic Italian cuisine, handmade products and high-quality ingredients.
Our approach is farm-to-table, with a strong focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and traditional preparation methods. We make many of our products in-house and are looking for a passionate Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis.
- Preparing fresh homemade pasta from scratch
- Preparing pizza and bread dough
- Preparing sauces, fillings and other components in-house
- Daily mise en place and kitchen preparation
- Contribute to the weekly menu according to seasonality
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and efficient
- Working independently as well as part of a small team
What we are looking for
- Professional and proven experience in a restaurant kitchen
- Strong practical skills in fresh pasta, pizza and bread making
- Excellent knowledge of Italian cuisine
- A genuine passion for cooking and quality ingredients
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Experience with Sicilian cuisine is a plus
- We value someone who knows how to make the most of every ingredient — working seasonally, reducing waste and keeping food costs under control without sacrificing quality
- Italian and/or English skills are a plus
