Key ResponsibilitiesAct as scientific referent for critical analytical activitiesDevelop, validate, and optimize advanced analytical methodsDefine analytical strategies for complex problem-solvingLead analytical investigations and support operations (troubleshooting, root cause analysis, customer support)Support ISO 17025 compliance activities laboratory staff and contribute to competency development among the team membersRepresent the analytical laboratory in cross-functional and strategic projects Analytical ChallengesSolve complex, non-standard analytical problemsDevelop innovative approaches for complex matrices (inks, polymers…)Combine multiple analytical techniques (Pyrolysis-GC-MS, LC-MS, ATR-FTIR, ICP-OES, XRF…)Investigate chemical mechanisms (reactions, degradation, interactions)Identify and overcome analytical limitations through alternative approachesDirectly contribute to innovation and business value creationProfilePhD in Analytical Chemistry with minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience, or equivalent combination of experience and expertiseProven experience in leading complex analytical projectsStrong expertise in method development and validationAdvanced knowledge of analytical techniquesExperience working in an ISO 17025 environment is considered an advantage Strong analytical thinking, autonomy, and scientific leadershipAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersFluent in English and FrenchSICPA SAAvenue de Florissant 411008 Prilly
