SIE SA is a distribution network manager that annually delivers more than 350 million kilowatt-hours to the 50,000 inhabitants located in the territory of the four municipalities of western Lausanne, Chavannes-près-Renens, Crissier, Ecublens and Renens. Alongside DSO activities, we also offer a wide range of services such as the construction and maintenance of private transformer stations, the operation of the entire public lighting park, the implementation and management of RCP as well as the financing by contracting of photovoltaic installations and electric charging stations among others. To support the Company in full transformation and to strengthen its team, the "Network" sector is looking for a:
GEOMATICIAN (M/F) at 100% for a fixed-term contract until 31.12.2027
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Carry out topographical and attribute surveys of electrical network, cable TV and district heating installations. - Check, analyse and report field surveys in the company’s GIS. - Set out sites for civil engineering works (excavation axes, surveys, constructions and network infrastructures). - Participate in various computer-aided drawing tasks and document updates related to electrical networks and energy services. - Ensure coordination with project managers, field teams, companies and external stakeholders to guarantee the smooth running of geomatics activities during works. - React promptly during works or network modifications to ensure reliable and up-to-date surveys. - Ensure the quality, consistency and accuracy of data collected and integrated into the company’s systems. - Participate in the continuous improvement of survey methods, data processing and plan update processes.
Qualities and required profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a Geomatician or an equivalent qualification related to the activity. - You master common office tools (MS Office) as well as CAD/cadastral tools; knowledge of Autocad Map 3D for survey reporting and plan production is a real asset. - You have good knowledge of electrical and multimedia networks as well as civil engineering sites. - You are proficient in reading plans and the quality controls necessary for data processing and integration into databases. - You have good knowledge of topographic GPS systems and robotic theodolites. - You demonstrate excellent organisational, coordination and priority management skills. - You are able to work with precision and rigour, ensuring high reliability of the information produced. - You know how to react effectively to unforeseen events and are comfortable in an environment requiring availability and responsiveness on site. - You enjoy teamwork and collaborate easily with different interlocutors. - You are autonomous, flexible, conscientious and have a strong sense of responsibility. - You hold a category B driving licence.
