A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Product Manager Artificial Intelligence (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, you will manage and structure the AI use case backlog for GT products and processes within the PRM organization. You will identify needs at the stakeholder level and translate them into product/Solution requirements, ensuring that the expected result aligns with user needs and business goals.

Within a global and distributed „Digital Solution Management“ team, you will be responsible for the AI roadmap. Together with technical AI experts, you will ensure that technical complexity is properly addressed and solutions are implemented in a timely manner. This includes clear communication of status, issues, and successes for every initiative. The AI solutions are preconditions for streamlined processes and will strengthen Siemens Energy’s competitiveness.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Good strategic planning skills, ensuring that the AI product aligns with overall business goals.
• Technical leading and functionally managing cross-functional development teams, ensuring goal achievement and keeping teams focused on delivering solutions to real customer pain points.
• Active collaboration with teams from different departments and sites in an international environment.
• Interpreting data and facts, making informed decisions in cooperation with stakeholders and deriving strategies for processes, tools, and IT systems.
• Being a role model and supporting teams working in a scaled agile framework.
• Contributing to the Siemens Energy transformer business in terms of quality, efficiency, and sustainability as part of the future-oriented digitalization and „digital product management“ team.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree preferably in computer science or other relevant programs like physics, electrical engineering, or software engineering.
• Proven experience in managing AI projects and implementing AI solutions in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including GenAI, LLM, computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.
• Analytical skills such as interpreting data, performing market research, and making informed decisions, as well as proficiency in gathering relevant data for careful analysis.
• Strategic planning experience to ensure the product aligns with overarching business objectives, setting clear goals, understanding customers, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Proficient communication and listening skills in English are required, as well as the willingness to travel internationally.
• SAFE Product Manager certificate and experience in strategic planning is beneficial.
