About the Role

As an AI expert at Siemens Energy, you will start your day by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI opportunities that drive innovation and efficiency. You might work on developing a PoC for a predictive maintenance model, which will significantly enhance operational reliability for our customers. Your work will have a profound impact on the team by providing technical expertise and guiding the realization of AI initiatives, ultimately contributing to Siemens Energy's mission of sustainable and reliable energy solutions. How You'll Make an Impact

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI applications and drive innovation.
• Judge feasibility of AI initiatives, develop solution architectures and consult in realization phase.
• Develop and deploy PoCs of AI models and algorithms.
• Identify required datasets and analyze to extract meaningful insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of AI strategies and roadmaps.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI models and algorithms in an industrial environment.
• Strong programming skills in related languages (preferably Python) and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in English, German is a plus.
• Experience with LLMs and computer vision is a plus.
