The focus is on application landscapes, process automation and data management in the areas of cloud, OT and data center operations. In this area, we are responsible for applications, for automation and monitoring of operational services, their deployment, inventory, as well as asset and configuration management. Your task is to operate our CMS applications and to further automate and standardize our data and interfaces in an increasingly complex world. The focus is strongly data management and the transformation into a data-driven environment. You use the latest technologies, deal with the use of AI and develop primarily in Python. DevOps concepts, CI/CD and agile working are in your blood. You have already gained experience with agile process models and working in an international environment.
The task also includes the development of concepts for further transformation into a seamless and scalable environment that supports OnPrem and Cloud as well as OT environments. Compliance with quality standards and monitoring based on key figures are the basis of our work (SLA, performance indicators, authorization, licenses & KPIs). A special focus is on IT security. The organization of changes to the IT landscape in your area of responsibility and the proactive and continuous initiation and implementation of improvements are also part of our expectations. There you coordinate overarching topics with other IT Operation units. In case of problems, you are the central point of contact within your area of responsibility. In all of this, you ensure an effective and trustful cooperation with internal and external customers and partners, which also includes planning and carrying out trainings.
What you should be able to do so that the world can do more:
- Master Degree in computer science (University, FH, BA) or comparable qualification, as well as several years of experience in data center or cloud operations.
- Your focus is on automation, especially with Python.
- You have already gained experience in system administration, database and CMS operation.
- Kubernetes and Docker are familiar to you, as are Oracle and PostGres.
- Strong interest in the tasks of ensuring operations (including automated processes), experience in IT project teams and openness to working in international teams are required.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills are a must.
- Participation in on-call duties (724) is required.
