A Snapshot of Your Day

As an experienced SAFe Scrum Master, you will facilitate and ensure the effective implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across development teams. With a deep understanding of SAFe principles, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment, you will serve as a servant leader to help teams achieve PI Goals. Proficient in Azure DevOps, you will support teams in organizing their work within this tool. You will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Agile practices. Additionally, you will guide teams in self-organization, cross-functionality, and removing impediments for smooth project delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Implement and promote the use of SAFe practices and principles within the organization. Ensure their alignment at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and facilitate communication between teams, Product Owners and stakeholders.
  • Coach teams and individuals on Agile practices and the SAFe framework, providing guidance to improve team dynamics and performance.
  • Support Program Increment (PI) Planning: Facilitate PI Planning sessions, define objectives, identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and track PI progress.
  • Track and report on key Agile metrics to ensure transparency and continuous improvement, using data to identify and implement necessary changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement. Implement best practices and lessons learned from retrospectives.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Certification: Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years as a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment with a proven track record of implementing SAFe practices in an organization.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the SAFe framework, excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to resolve conflicts and remove impediments, and proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in leading multiple Agile teams in a SAFe environment, background in software development or technical project management, and additional certifications in Agile (e.g., CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP).).
  • Fluency in German and English languages.
