Your new responsibilities
- Conduct penetration testing on (cloud-based) IoT/OT and embedded devices, networks and systems to uncover security flaws and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement penetration testing methodologies tailored to (cloud-based) IoT/OT environments.
- Analyze and evaluate findings from security assessments, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the design and development pipelines.
- Communicate findings in a clear way, providing actionable recommendations for improvement to development and engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and tools to streamline the penetration testing process.
- Stay up to date with the latest penetration testing tools, techniques and cybersecurity threats.
Your talents and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in a related field or a similar position.
- Shown experience as a Penetration Tester or similar role in cybersecurity, with a focus on (cloud-based) IoT/OT and embedded devices.
- Familiarity with various penetration testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP).
- Strong understanding of IoT protocols, architectures and security challenges.
- Knowledge of network and web application security testing.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN or similar are preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical collaborators.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
