Your new responsibilities

  • Developing a new IoT product platform for the flexible integration of physical devices into the building automation system, focusing on secure IP communication and flexibility
  • Software architecture, design and implementation of IoT devices based on Zephyr
  • Evaluation and contribution to suitable open- and inner-source components with an ‚open mindset‘ and according to the ‚upstream first‘ principle
  • Working in an agile development environment following Scrum principles, with the customer at the center

Your Skills and Experience

  • Degree or equivalent experience in engineering (computer science, electrical engineering or similar)
  • Well-founded software engineering knowledge based on OSS concepts (Zephyr/Cross-Development, T1S/L…) for ‚constrained devices‘ (Cortex M33)
  • Several years of experience in object-oriented design and implementation in various programming languages (modern C/C++, Rust, Python, WASM…)
  • Development of a modern CI/CD pipeline for embedded devices (CMake, GitLab Runner, Lava…) with integrated quality jobs
  • Willingness to take ‚ownership‘ of the product platform and assume extended roles (e.g., Architect, PO…)
  • Proactive and motivated personality with excellent communication skills to technically lead a small interdisciplinary team in the future and report to stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English
