We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT specialist to join our team as a Team Lead for „Digital Identities“. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a background in digital identity management. ResponsibilitiesYou are leading the strategic development of our authentication and authorization services with a focus on mid- and long-term goals. Innovation is your passion: You are responsible for scouting new technologies and trends in digital identities, focusing on authentication and authorization. As the owner of our overall IAM product and service portfolio, you take end-to-end responsibility. You drive continuous improvements, enhancing both the usability and technical capabilities of our centrally led identity systems. You supervise the cost structure of our centrally handled identity systems, keeping everything under control. In projects, you’re the go-to authority for authentication solutions and enterprise architecture. You lead an international team of approximately 30 colleagues, guiding them both functionally and disciplinarily, while helping them unlock their full potential. You excel in QualificationsYou bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in your field, making you a seasoned professional You have successfully completed a master’s degree in business informatics or a comparable field of study. You’ve already shown your skills as a Service Manager or Service Owner and are ready to take the next step You have extensive expertise in identity management and authentication, and you’re well-versed in standards like SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2 You have long years of experiences and a proven background in access management and understand its critical role in modern organizations Information security concepts within the IAM domain are second nature to you, and you know how to apply them effectively You’re confident and outspoken when working with diverse collaborator groups, ensuring alignment and transparency Leading virtual teams is something you’re experienced in, and you know how to create a collaborative and motivated environment Your interpersonal skills are outstanding, enabling you to connect seamlessly with international customers, providers, and management Technical ExpertiseYou have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and the Azure Cloud ecosystem You’re experienced with leading identity providers, such as Microsoft and Okta (including Customer Identity for Cloud/Auth0) Standards like SAML, Single Sign-On (SSO), OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and frameworks like Node.js are part of your technical toolbox You know how to set up and lead federations efficiently, ensuring seamless integrations You’ve successfully executed and operated large-scale, sophisticated IAM solutions and are ready to address even bigger challenges If you are passionate about digital identity management, have a strong sense of leadership, and possess the required qualifications and technical expertise, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
