We will achieve this togetherDrinking Water EngineerAs a Drinking Water Engineer, you participate in the distribution of impeccable quality drinking water for customers in the canton of Geneva, while contributing to the maintenance of infrastructure and meeting needs. Within the Thermal, Gas and Water Directorate, the SINERGI unit provides technical support to the Drinking Water and Gas activity, while coordinating its digital transformation. It also contributes to the development of the drinking water network, asset management, and the financial management of the activity.Your energy at the service of a sustainable Geneva- Propose and ensure the monitoring of the balance between the hydraulic system and the drinking water needs of the canton, in collaboration with the teams concerned;- Participate in the definition of instructions in collaboration with the shift supervisors;- Collaborate on analyses and studies of drinking water structures and networks;- Carry out hydraulic studies and contribute to large-scale engineering projects;- Contribute to the processing of connection and network disconnection requests as well as cross-functional projects related to the evolution of the drinking water system;- Participate in the overall monitoring of the system and approaches for the preservation of resources and quality.Your personality and your skillsEndowed with an excellent sense of organization, you know how to effectively manage priorities in a demanding and constantly evolving environment. A sensitivity to the challenges of sustainable water resource management is essential. Knowledge of German and English constitutes an asset.Your academic background- EPF or HES engineering degree in mechanical engineering (hydraulic option), environmental sciences, or equivalent;- 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of hydraulics;- Knowledge of the Geneva territory and its specificities.Specific conditionsThis position is part of a support service operation by team.
