Sigma Suisse is partnering with a large international organisation operating in a highly regulated environment to recruit a Oracle Database Operations Lead.
You will join a global DBA team supporting a very large Oracle estate across on-premises and hybrid/public cloud environments .
Based in Geneva , you will take ownership of the database platform “system side” : operating systems, engineered infrastructure, high availability, replication, monitoring, and the gradual migration from on-prem to cloud .
This is a hands‑on, deeply technical role, closely connected to CTRM and analytics platforms , where most critical business data flows transit.
Key Responsibilities Own the deployment, operations and support of Oracle database platforms on‑prem and in cloud/hybrid environments.
Administer and secure Oracle 19c+ environments (incl.
RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, CDB/PDB ), and ensure high availability and recoverability.
Operate and improve database monitoring and performance tooling ( OEM/monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning ).
Support Oracle middleware / data replication stack, including Oracle Golden Gate , and contribute to zero‑downtime maintenance approaches.
Provide operational support around CTRM and analytics applications: installation support, critical process monitoring, and close collaboration with business and development teams.
Work across infrastructure, security, network and application teams regionally and globally.
Define/document standards, procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement (automation, operational excellence).
Participate in planned off‑hours activities when required (major changes, incidents, occasional weekend work).
Required Experience
