Vice Dean for Research We are seeking a Vice Dean for Research to start immediately.
Qualification Profile for the Position In an initial phase (approx. three months), the individual research profile will be refined in consultation with the faculty leadership.
Based on this, the conclusion of a qualification agreement (tenure track) is planned. The goal is to further develop the position toward a habilitation and subsequent prospects for an associate professorship.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic development of the faculty’s research area in close coordination with the dean’s office
Active participation in faculty development and accreditation processes with a focus on research
Further development of sustainable research structures and quality assurance processes
Coordination and support of procedures in the area of research (e.g., research reports, evaluations)
Independent academic work involving international publications and presentations, securing external funding, and raising the department’s profile within the framework of the qualification agreement
Contribution to teaching
Your Profile
Completed doctoral studies in a relevant or related scientific discipline (e.g., psychotherapy science, psychology, educational science, sociology, philosophy, or medicine)
Proven research experience and an independent academic profile with recognizable potential for development (toward a habilitation)
Experience in securing external funding and a corresponding academic track record with international publications
Organizational skills, strategic thinking, and an interest in academic and institutional development
Completed psychotherapy training is an advantage
