We are currently looking for at least one additional Trainee for our Business Unit Automotive & Industry to join the Technical Services / Market Field Engineering Team.
This Traineeship will take place in Widen, Switzerland, for 12 months, before joining our Technical Team in Bad Urach, Germany.
What could the job of such Engineer look like after the Traineeship?
Providing technical advice and support independently of selected key accounts, engineering offices, consultants, etc. (including visits) for assigned product groups
Technical interpretation of customer and market needs and initiation of new developments based on PCP
Develop innovating solutions for new or existing applications
Implementation of new products (including field tests) and solutions in close cooperation with sales and marketing and other involved departments
Technical responsibility for the specific product portfolio including maintenance
Identification of corresponding and competitive gaps, niches and opportunities
Supporting local sales organizations and global key accounts in case of complaints/claims
Arrange and support of trainings for customers and local SO’s
Work out of technical argumentation for sales and marketing
Qualifications You’ve recently completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in materials, mechanical, civil, or industrial engineering, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
You’re eager to kick‑start a successful career and make an impact.
You have strong English skills and can communicate confidently.
As this role has a defined target position in Germany, strong German skills are required.
You bring a high level of initiative and thrive working independently.
