Your mission
The Medical Education Specialist – EMEA Distributors will support the execution of Medical Education activities across distributor-led markets within the EMEA region, with a primary focus on Turkey.
Reporting to the Medical Education Manager EMEA, this role will work closely with distributors, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and internal stakeholders to deliver scientific initiatives, support KOL engagement activities, and contribute to the implementation of regional medical education plans. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective execution of scientific programs and the collection of valuable medical insights from distributor markets.
Your profile
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of Medical Education plans and scientific initiatives across EMEA distributor markets.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other relevant healthcare stakeholders.
- Execute KOL engagement activities in line with regional medical objectives.
- Support the planning and coordination of advisory boards, expert meetings, scientific events, and educational initiatives.
- Collaborate with distributors to identify local scientific opportunities and stakeholder engagement needs.
- Facilitate scientific exchange between the company, distributors, and external experts.
- Gather and communicate medical insights from KOLs and distributor markets to support regional priorities and decision-making.
- Provide scientific support for regional medical education projects and activities.
- Work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Marketing teams to ensure the successful delivery of educational events and initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific data, clinical developments, and therapeutic area trends.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline.
- Phd or master in life sciences will be considered an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.
- Previous exposure to Medical Affairs, Medical Education, scientific projects, or healthcare stakeholder engagement is preferred.
- Fluent English is mandatory. (min. C1)
- Turkish is highly desirable.
- Russian and/or Arabic would be considered an asset.
