For our customer, we are currently looking for a Senior Solution Design Expert Manufacturing (remote) (m/f/d)

• Location: Remote

• Timezone: CET time zone with flex. US / APAC

• Note: Necessary to work as freelancer with own registered business that enables you to invoice us for the worked hours. If you’re based in Switzerland, it’s also possible to get employed by us (Swiss payroll).

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Solution design and reviews for ongoing NTO (Technical Operations) related projects defined under Service Description and Deliverables. Follow-up on the closure of observations.

• Preparation and governance of large enhancements implementation.

• CAB Preparation and Management for NTO areas by ensuring the proposed solutions and effort estimation are correct and following the xNovaCore solutions, analyze whether requested enhancement has value for our client.

• Hands-on work on the assigned projects and enhancements according to defined processes.

• Standards Governance; review requirements, processes, and solution design in terms of CORE standards by functional experts and project team members.

• Support Stability Board and ensure SOX and NFCM compliancy of delivered solutions.

• Analysis of demand, communication to business and NVS vendors who will implement the solution.

• Provide feedback and alignment with Service delivery team on the Feasibility topics, Preparation activities for any new Demands.

• Contribute to scoping workshops, Solution design for new requirements, Design and prepare Functional specification Key Design Decisions in the Finance/Purchasing area – provide a functional assessment of the business requirement (STOP documents).

• Review High level solution design & efforts submitted by the Solution deployment team.

• Facilitating High level / Detailed effort estimates and solution design for Demand, large enhancements, and Projects.

• Assess the solution design and complexity and provide timely effort estimation.

• Execute Project reviews before tollgates as solution design reviewer.

• Perform IT approval, review, toll gates in course of the implementation.

• Perform Quality assurance through testing and documentation.

• Execute unit testing and system-integration testing. Responsible for defect solution during testing cycles.

• Support for Go-live and Hyper care and Handover to Support team.

• Proactive risk and impact assessment on the dependent objects.

• Assess and act on conflict management to resolve inter-dependencies.

• Support to TT deployment Team in adapting Standard and extend guidance wherever required.

• Provide support for escalations on incidents and support items.

• Knowledge transfer to Internal associates & Strategic Vendors.

• Approval of Change Requests, documents (incl. Functional Specifications), Functional review of WRICEF, Test script documents, Service orders, etc.

• Approve/execute OQs (Test Cases) in Proton, CR / CD approvals in NovaSol and support smooth PtP (Movement to Production).

Provision of Service Orders for Project/(Large) Enhancements of the SAP applications owned and hosted by our client using the following tools:

• Novasol: Solution manager to manage Change Request, Service Order, etc.

• DocNav: Dedicated solution to manage documentation.

• Proton: ALM tool to perform OQ and UAT tests.

Must Haves

• Relevant Experience as Solution Design Expert.

• Pharma Background.

• Experience with relevant software tools (Novasol, Docnav, Proton) beneficial.
