Sirva is seeking a German-speaking Business Development Director to join our global team.
This is a remote position, based anywhere in Europe, with candidates required to be near fluent in German.
Applications without German language proficiency will not be considered.
The role involves meeting or exceeding business development objectives in the EMEA region by promoting and selling Sirva\’s services to potential clients locally, regionally, and globally, through professional sales techniques, collaboration with internal experts, and effective networking.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Implement Sirva’s business development strategy for the EMEA region in the local market.
- Develop and execute prospecting strategies for target accounts and markets.
- Build a prospect pipeline aligned with revenue goals.
- Identify, establish, and maintain successful business relationships.
- Manage the full RFP process, including proposals, presentations, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Achieve or surpass new contract revenue and margin targets annually.
- Use Salesforce.com daily to track activities and manage the sales pipeline.
- Participate in team selling activities for regional and global accounts.
- Attend conferences and events to network with prospects, clients, and competitors.
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Supplier Management, and Finance.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with industry partners.

Qualifications and Experience
- 3-5 years in business, sales, or management roles.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth.
- Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder solutions.
- Experience building relationships at all organizational levels, including executives.
- Strong technological understanding of service delivery.
- Skilled in negotiation and contract review.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
