As Network team manager at SITA, you guide a cross-functional group responsible for SD-WAN and WAN backbone services. You align network strategy with business goals, drive project delivery, and maintain service levels across a global customer base. You will foster collaboration with stakeholders and lead modernization efforts to keep operations reliable and ahead of industry standards. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define and shape the future network architecture using modern technologies
- Gather requirements with stakeholders, set scope and timelines, and solicit feedback for improvement
- Lead budgeting, planning, execution, and delivery of the network portfolio
- Monitor progress, identify issues and risks, and keep projects on track
- Coordinate cross-functional engineers (WAN, SD-WAN, SSE) to foster collaboration
- Promote Agile and DevOps best practices (CI/CD, automation)
- Ensure thorough QA and adherence to product standards
- Manage lifecycle and technical debt of current solutions
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for continuity
- Manage performance, develop talent, and maintain team motivation
- Act as product owner for the area, backlogging and prioritizing initiatives to improve metrics
- Oversee vendor/partner selection and ongoing engagement to support goals
- Adhere to SITA methodologies, standards, and culture
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar
- 10+ years in Network and Security Engineering
- Strong technical skills in Networks, SD-WAN, Network Security, and Software Defined Networks
- Ability to define high-level designs with input from experts
- Proven project management experience
- Proven people management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in product management
- Strategic and analytical thinking balancing technical and business needs
