Thank you.To support our team, we're looking for a passionate person with an interest in venture capital and entrepreneurship as Student Assistant (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible for hrs / week. SIVentures is an emerging venture capital fund based in Leipzig's city centre, focusing on early-stage B2B software startups.We typically invest from €300k in pre-seed and seed startups, with a focus on Energy, Software Infrastructure, and AI applications.

Our hands-on team brings extensive international experience in finance, entrepreneurship, innovation, and venture capital.As SIVentures is a startup itself, there are limited pre-defined structures and processes so you will have a lot of flexibility and responsibility. Therefore, being a self-starter with a hands-on mentality is a must.Your tasks:Proactively source promising startups across various sectorsReview and evaluate business models, traction, and fundraising potentialEngage with founders to discuss growth, challenges, and financing needsAttend pitch events and conferences to scout new investment opportunitiesMaintain and update internal startup databasesConduct research projects on venture capital markets, industries and trendsGeneral support of our founding teamYour profile:Leipzig based onlyAt least 1 year until your graduation (preferably Master)Currently studying for a Science or Business DegreeA strong hands-on mentality and proactive mindsetProficiency in German and English (both written and oral)We offer:A dynamic, creative, and international working environmentA small motivated team where you work directly with founders & receive direct feedbackMany opportunities to develop yourself and to broaden your skill setA high level of responsibility and ambitious tasks within a strong teamAfter an initial onboarding phase on site, we offer flexible working hours and partial remote workWe are looking for someone to start as soon as possible – please indicate your availability in your application.
