Overview
In this role you will safeguard access to critical web apps and APIs within a security-focused Web Access Management team. You will design, operate, and enhance secure access patterns across reverse proxies, gateways, and identity platforms in a regulated environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve stability, automation, and incident handling while delivering robust authentication and SSO solutions. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Operate and enhance Web Access Management services (reverse proxy, access gateway, WAF, customer identity components)
- Design, build, and troubleshoot authentication and SSO flows (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML 2.0)
- Configure routing, TLS, access policies, authorization mappings, and upstream integrations for web apps and APIs
- Tune and maintain WAF policies (OWASP CRS, exceptions, anomaly scoring, change control)
- Contribute to operational stability, automation, monitoring, incident response, upgrades, disaster recovery readiness, and continuous service improvement
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Hands-on knowledge of reverse proxy/access gateway platforms (TLS, routing, header/cookie management, session handling, HA)
- Experience with web application firewall tech (ModSecurity, OWASP Core Rule Set, tuning, false positives)
- Understanding of customer identity and access management, MFA, token validation, and authorization models
- Knowledge of federation and protocols (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML 2.0, JWT, PKCE, scopes, claims, certificates, metadata, key rotation)
- Analytical, security-minded, collaborative with good communication; fluent English; German is an advantage
