Senior Network Engineer
for my client based in Geneva:
Responsibilities
Design, implement, manage, and optimize the global network infrastructure.
Manage data centers, Azure network environments, and vendor relationships.
Strategically plan capacity assessment and develop network policies and disaster recovery plans.
Deploy and maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN architectures, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring high availability, performance, monitoring, and security audits.
Lead network-related projects, provide 3rd level support, manage on‑call duties outside office hours, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams including cybersecurity and DevOps.
Profile
Senior Network Engineer with at least 8 years of hands‑on experience.
Must hold a CCNA certification; CCNP preferred.
Technical expertise in Cisco/HP networking technologies, Microsoft Azure, routing, switching, wireless networking, and network security solutions such as Fortinet firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and Enterprise Architecture concepts is required.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage projects, coordinate with vendors, and provide 3rd level support.
Excellent fluency in both English and French is mandatory, along with availability for on‑call support outside business hours.
