Maintenance Technician – Semiconductor Manufacturing
Location: Greater Hamburg Area
Working Pattern: Rotating Shifts
The Opportunity:
A leading semiconductor organisation is looking to strengthen its maintenance team with experienced Maintenance Technicians.
This is a hands‑on position supporting highly automated manufacturing equipment within a modern production and cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance of production equipment
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and technical faults
- Diagnosing equipment breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Repairing and replacing components where required
- Supporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement
- Working closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams
- Following technical documentation and maintenance procedures
- Working within a controlled semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Participating in a structured rotating shift system
Candidate Profile:
- Technical/vocational qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or similar
- Hands‑on maintenance or equipment servicing experience
- Strong technical troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills
- Experience within semiconductor manufacturing would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Candidates from other automated/high‑tech manufacturing environments are also of interest
- Comfortable working rotating day and night shifts
Language:
- German communication skills required, ideally B2 level and above
- Comfortable communicating with German‑speaking colleagues
- Able to understand technical instructions and terminology in German
