Supply Chain Manager

Summary of the role:

This is a brand-new position. This site currently houses 70 employees. Reporting to the head of site, you will be responsible for supporting this growing production site. You will optimise and develop their supply chain, which includes planning, logistics, procurement, and operational processes. You will work closely with global teams and key suppliers to drive capacity planning and strategic projects.

Tasks:

1. You will have management responsibilities, overseeing a team of 2 to begin with. You will also oversee and manage supply chain performance at the site to meet increasing demand.
2. Continuous optimization of the supply chain across all functions (planning, logistics, procurement, operations) with a focus on strategic and tactical planning horizons.
3. Development and implementation of capacity planning and resource allocation at the site.
4. Interface function to the global supply chain and close cooperation with key suppliers for long-term supply planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
5. Conception, introduction, and further development of operational supply chain processes.
6. Responsibility for system integration (e.g. ERP), including definition and maintenance of master data and implementation of efficient work processes.
7. Participation in cross-site initiatives to increase delivery capability and reduce delivery times.
