Skills Provision is searching for a Senior Travel Manager for a company in Germany.

Our client is one of the leading suppliers of fashionable clothing and accessories throughout Germany.

The Role

• Handle company-wide travel activities including policy adherence, staffing levels, ticketing, emergency travel, hotel room availability, expense reporting and quality control.
• Initiate, develop, and maintain company-wide travel policies and ensure the policy is supported by 3rd parties.
• Reduce travel costs within the limits of the policy.
• Negotiate with air carriers, preferred hotels, car rental companies, and ground transportation companies to reduce costs.
• Generate monthly reports for the Board of Directors.
• Internally manage the Travel Section.

Requirements

• Relevant Degree is essential.
• Minimum of 6 years managerial experience.
• Knowledge of domestic air, hotel contracts and pricing is essential.
• Knowledge of trade show operations.
• Strong working knowledge of IT systems.
• Strong oral communication and writing skills (German & English).
• Must be self-directed, but also able to work as a team member.
• Drive Results.
• Business Acumen.
