Your future tasks

• Together with the Package Management team, you will lead the controlling process of the assigned packages (from input to quality assurance and change management). The number of assigned packages will depend on purchase volumes and complexity, the current expectation is 2-3.
• Monitoring and controlling project costs (including risks and liquidity planning), liaising with the project team to identify cost‑saving opportunities and risk mitigation measures.
• Driving the cost change/budget change process of the assigned package including root cause analysis, variance explanations and approval process.
• Overall ownership of the WBS elements of assigned packages including P2P postings, manual postings, accruals, accounting department liaison, etc.
• Lead the reporting of the assigned packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the consolidation and overall reporting of the whole project, supporting the month‑end closing process and preparation of management reporting presentations.

Your profile

• A highly competent controller with many years of experience in commercial business topics, controlling and accounting with an emphasis on financial planning and reporting. Experience in performance controlling and/or a commercial project management specifically will be a plus.
• You have sound professional experience in project controlling of demanding technical projects, ideally in the field of offshore wind energy.
• Natural ability to build working relationships, with excellent communication skills to translate financials into key messages ready to be used by decision makers.
• Strong data‑driven problem‑solving skills, continuously striving for improving and automating regular activities with an open mind for change.
• A business or accounting degree/qualification, expert in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP. Competence in Business Intelligence Platforms such as Power BI or digitalization tools like Alteryx, Snowflake is important.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
