Sky Team Finance & Data Team ensures transparency, accuracy, and integrity in financial reporting while supporting management with reliable insights for decision-making.

About the Internship Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Audit Intern to support our finance team in reporting, compliance, and audit-related activities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to financial statement preparation, internal controls, and audit processes—ideal for students or recent graduates aiming for a career in finance, accounting, or auditing.

Your Assignments

• Support internal audits by gathering documentation, testing controls, and preparing working papers.

• Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Contribute to reconciliations of accounts and verification of financial data accuracy.

• Assist in reviewing expense reports, invoices, and supporting documentation.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen internal controls.

• Collaborate with the finance team on ad-hoc reporting and analysis tasks.

Your profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting principles.

• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation); knowledge of accounting software (e.g., AccountView, Elvy, SRXP, etc.) is a plus.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with confidential information.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Must have:

• You must maintain active enrollment in a university program throughout the duration of your internship
• Currently residing in the Netherlands for the duration of your internship
• Minimum availability 32h – 40h per week
