Renesas is accelerating its roadmap for industrial automation silicon solutions, requiring clear specifications for next-generation technologies. As Technology Manager/Architect, you will define the industrial functional safety technology strategy and technical architecture byconsolidatingmarket requirements, technology trends, key customer needs, and the broader market environment.

Your Role:

Define the software strategy and architecture for next-generation industrial functional safety solutions.

Advance modular, scalable, and certifiable software platforms for industrial functional safety.

Turn customer, market, and application needs into clear technical roadmaps and compelling industrial value propositions.

Collaborate with functional safety stakeholders to define a concise, modular, cross-platform industrial functional safety strategy and architecture.

Engage early with certification authorities to align architecture and compliance strategy.

Guide development teams from architecture definition through implementation and customer enablement.

Track functional safety standards, market trends, and competitor activity tomaintainRenesas’ technology leadership.

Represent Renesas in strategic discussions with customers, partners, standards bodies, and ecosystem stakeholders.

M.Scin Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalentwithadditionalexpertise in software development.

Deep knowledge of industrial functional safety standards, including IEC/EN 61508, IEC 61800-5-2, IEC 62061, ISO 10218-1, and related standards.

Strongexpertisein functional safety application design for industrial automation and robotics.

Proventrack recordof transforming technical and market requirements into technology strategies and implementation success.

Openness to explorenew technologiesand marketstoderive implementation recommendations from that.

Ability to build andmaintainexcellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent customer focus withstrong communicationskills.

Familiarity withindustrial automation technology such as industrial networking, functionalsafety,security.

Result-oriented, self-organized, self-motivatedwithindependence of thought.
