Senior Performance Marketing Manager – C2B & Retail (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager (f/m/x) to drive profitable growth across our two consumer brands wirkaufendeinauto.de(incl. EU sister brands) and Autohero.

This is not a generalist role. You need to know your platform inside out: formats, bidding, signals, feeds, tracking, audiences, experiments and automation. And you need to understand the business behind the clicks — from customers selling their cars to customers finding and buying their next car with us.

You will work directly with our Head of Growth. We give you ownership; we expect you to know your numbers, challenge the status quo and make the platform better every day.

• Own your platform end to end — run the full format portfolio across wirkaufendeinauto.de and Autohero, all active European markets and both customer journeys
• Turn media spend into profitable growth — steer budgets based on volume, CAC, customer value and Gross Profit and know exactly where the next Euro should go
• Own the engine behind performance — bidding, conversion signals, audiences, feeds, tracking and integrations need to work together and optimize towards real business value
• Know what moved and why — stay close to performance every day, spot anomalies early, dig into the data, find the root cause and act fast
• Experiment constantly — run structured tests, challenge existing setups and bring new formats, betas and opportunities into the business before they become standard
• Automate what should not be manual — use AI, scripts and automation to analyze faster, remove repetitive work and continuously improve how we operate at scale

• You are a true platform expert — several years of hands‑on ownership of one major advertising platform at meaningful scale, ideally across multiple markets
• You know the whole platform, not just one corner of it — for Google Ads, Search alone is not enough; we expect expertise across its broader format and technical ecosystem
• AI‑first, analytical and curious — AI and automation are part of how you work, not an add‑on. You dig deep into data, question what you see and constantly look for smarter ways to drive performance
• You understand the business behind the funnel — you can connect campaigns and customer journeys to unit economics, customer value and profitability across both C2B and Retail
• You take ownership and move fast — you identify problems, build solutions and execute without waiting for someone to give you the next task
• Fluent English is mandatory; German is a strong plus — you communicate clearly and can turn complex data into simple, actionable decisions
