Master Scheduling Specialist (f/m/d)

Materials and Production Planning;

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to the Master Schedule with the goal of achieving 90% OTD while maximizing the utilization of production resources (machinery and personnel) and minimizing inventory levels.
• Production Planning Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Microsoft Project and FELIOS (APS in GEV Birr).
• Feasibility Analysis: Perform feasibility analyses and conduct thorough reviews of customer orders, forecasts, and quotations.
• Resource Capacity Management: Provide support for capacity utilization analysis and long‑term production planning.
• Reporting Coordination: Conduct regular planning meetings with department leaders to align shop floor execution with business goals and priorities.
• System Maintenance: Track project hours and completion status within SAP (PowerMax).
• Procurement Inventory Support: Lead the development and management of procurement analyses; assist in the inventory optimisation projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement process improvement initiatives, including the enhancement of relevant systems (main focus on APS FELIOS).
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Actively participate in project teams and corporate programmes to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
• Support the Fulfilment team in customer care – work on customer satisfaction, understand demand trends and support proposal giving.
• Serve as the foundation for the Senior Management’s SOP (Sales Operations Planning) and resource planning processes.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in scheduling, production planning or a related field.
• Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or HS Diploma/Equivalent with major experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP), particularly in production planning, scheduling, MRP and inventory management.
• Language skills: fluent in German & English.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools and web‑based applications.
• Basic knowledge of Heavy Machine production or a similar industrial production environment.
