Overview

In this role you coordinate the Data Effects Cell to synchronize data collection, processing, and dissemination in support of USASOC mission requirements. You work at the intersection of data operations and mission support, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs across multiple sources and contractors. You’ll manage the DEC battle rhythm, track RFIs and data products, and liaise with supported units to translate data into actionable mission effects. The position emphasizes cross-functional coordination, data integrity, and compliance in a DoD environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Coordinate all Data Effects Cell activities across members and supported units
  • Maintain up-to-date view of active data tasks, RFIs, and data products
  • Develop and manage DEC battle rhythm and delivery schedules
  • Track status of data taskings from receipt to delivery with quality control
  • Identify and resolve coordination bottlenecks and escalate unresolved issues
  • Receive, triage, and assign RFIs, ensure proper scoping and tracking
  • Coordinate with analysts, subcontractors, and SMEs for RFI responses and DVR products
  • Review data products for completeness and alignment with RFIs
  • Maintain RFI log and product library for trend analysis
  • Synchronize data activities across the DEC to ensure integrated outputs
  • Coordinate with TMN data strategist, site leads, and technical staff on data workflows
  • Integrate multiple data sources (geospatial, ISR, open-source) into cohesive products
  • Ensure outputs are properly packaged for staff planners, commanders, or analysts
  • Serve as the primary liaison between DEC and supported unit staff
  • Attend unit battle rhythm events to monitor evolving data requirements
  • Communicate DEC capacity, workload, and product status to manage expectations
  • Solicit feedback from units and incorporate lessons learned into processes
  • Assist in development/maintenance of TMN Data Strategy and support to exercises
  • Prioritize data tasks and allocate resources in coordination with leads
  • Identify patterns in RFI volume and data source usage to anticipate needs
  • Enforce data product quality standards across the cell
  • Develop/maintain SOPs for coordination, RFI management, product review, dissemination
  • Conduct AARs and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with DoD data policies and governance standards
  • Prepare and deliver status briefings and reports to leadership and units
  • Maintain documentation in tracking systems
  • Draft and coordinate correspondence and transmittals on behalf of DEC

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Intelligence Studies, Operations Research, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent military education/experience)
  • 4+ years in data operations, intelligence analysis, information management, or mission support coordination within DoD/defense contracting
  • Prior U.S. military service with operations/intelligence/data management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-tempo environment
  • Familiarity with military RFI processes, intelligence production cycles, or data delivery workflows
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefings and professional documents
  • Proficiency with productivity/tracking tools (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required
  • Experience with subcontractor deliverables in DoD programs
  • Experience with data environments supporting Special Operations (SOF) preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
