The Job

You will be responsible for:

  • Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, Helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and internal customer service skills.
  • Willing to work off-hours and weekends when required for projects or emergency support.
  • Provide first level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
  • Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
  • Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
  • Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized desktop applications.
  • Basic knowledge of Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
  • Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software.
  • Broad experience of IT with basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices, and Telecoms.
  • This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provide L1 support to non-network attached printers.
  • Hands and feet support for Server, Storage, Backup & Network equipment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting basic application issues, and deeper diagnosis under direction from remote teams.

The Profile

  • You have at least B2 level of German language proficiency.
  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • You have at least 1 year of experience, ideally within a Helpdesk/Technical Support role.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have working knowledge of MDM, SCCM, Intune, printer support, and Active Directory.
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
  • You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems.
