R-164384### **Job Description**Job Title: IT AnalystLocation: SwitzerlandRole PurposeSupport the design, build, and rollout of the company’s new IT infrastructure, ensuring a structured and secure migration of existing services and applications from the current ecosystem. Act as a key interface between the central IT function in Chennai and global business units, ensuring alignment, coordination, and business continuity throughout the transformation.Key AccountabilitiesIT Infrastructure Transformation* Support the design and implementation of the target IT infrastructure (cloud, network, workplace, and security layers)* Collaborate with the central IT team (Chennai) to deploy and configure infrastructure solutions* Contribute to the definition and enforcement of global IT standards, policies, and operating models* Ensure compliance with architecture guidelines, cybersecurity requirements, and internal governanceApplication & Service Migration* Coordinate and support the migration of applications and IT services to the new infrastructure* Assist in migration planning, including cut-over strategy, testing, and rollback procedures* Validate service continuity and system performance during transition phases* Identify, track, and mitigate migration risks and dependencies* Support data integrity validation and post-migration stabilization activitiesGlobal Coordination & Stakeholder Management* Act as the primary point of contact between the Chennai IT team and global offices* Facilitate communication, alignment, and issue resolution across multiple regions and time zones* Support local entities in understanding and adopting new IT solutions and processes* Gather business requirements and ensure proper translation into IT deliverablesOperational Support & Continuous Improvement* Support incident resolution and troubleshooting during and after migration phases* Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify improvement areas* Contribute to documentation of systems, processes, and migration activities* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery and user experienceQualifications & Experience* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field* Experience in IT infrastructure, systems integration, or migration projects* Experience in cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure) and enterprise applications* Programming skills are a plus* Proven experience in multi-country / global IT environmentsSkills & Competencies* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (cloud, network, identity, workplace)* Knowledge of migration methodologies and project coordination practices* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex, international environment* Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business teams* High level of autonomy, accountability, and execution focusAbout LinxonShaping energy solutions to empower sustainable connectivity.We combine Hitachi Energy’s deep technological knowledge and AtkinsRéalis’s project management expertise to create a company dedicated to substations – we are Linxon.Linxon’s vision is to deliver the best market offering for turnkey substation projects through world-class power technologies and delivering the highest level of competence in managing infrastructure projects.As a leading engineering company, we help our customers with turnkey substation solutions in the field of power transmission, renewable energy, and transportation.In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a new company as it evolves and help shape it for the future.
