As part of Snowflake, Observe combines startup-style ownership and velocity with the global reach, operational excellence, and ecosystem of one of the world’s leading data platforms. /p h3The Team /h3 pWe are hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Productivity for our Engineering team at Observe by Snowflake. /p h3In this role you will: /h3 ul liDesign, build, and maintain internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and AI agent based developer workflows /li liBuild and scale test infrastructure and test execution frameworks to accelerate developer feedback loops /li liImprove developer velocity, developer and agent environment tooling, as well as local debugging/testing workflows /li liPartner with development, infrastructure, and SRE teams to streamline release engineering, deployment reliability, and artifact management /li liMonitor and optimize build times, test flakiness, and CI performance across the engineering organization /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on engineering productivity, developer tooling, agentic workflows, build systems, or release engineering /li liProven experience building and maintaining CI/CD systems, build orchestration tools (e.g., Bazel, Nix, Go build tooling), and test automation infrastructure /li liStrong proficiency in server-side languages such as Go, Python, Java, or C++ /li liHands-on experience with containerization, cloud infrastructure, and release automation /li liDeep interest in developer experience, developer velocity metrics, and building developer-facing products /li /ul h3Bonus Points /h3 ul liExperience in backend application development /li liExperience with open-source developer tools, Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code /li liExperience with observability platforms, telemetry pipelines, or distributed tracing and logging systems (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Jaeger) /li liOpen-source contributions to observability, data infrastructure, or developer productivity projects /li /ul pSnowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
