We are seeking technology thought leaders with a strong background in building data platforms to help our customers leverage Snowflake, the central data platform for companies of all sizes. This role involves working on challenging data projects in a post-sales capacity. Fluency or native German is required.

What We Do
Our Professional Services team provides expert advisory services to help customers build enterprise solutions, migrate workloads, and implement best practices with Snowflake. We support long-term engagements to optimize their data management and governance, aiming to be trusted technology advisors and maximize their Snowflake investment.
Role Responsibilities
- Engage with multiple Snowflake customers
- Lead technical streams of data platform implementations and onboarding
- Coordinate with Customer Engagement and Delivery teams for guidance and support
- Collaborate with Engineering, Support, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Troubleshoot implementations and integrate Snowflake into customer ecosystems
- Document, triage, and track issues to ensure resolution
- Contribute to team growth through documentation, process improvements, and cross-training
- Apply industry and technology expertise to client projects
- Gather product feedback for new features
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have over 12 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, with expertise in:
- Distributed systems, MPP technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, Spark, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Data strategies such as Data Mesh, Data Vault, Data Governance, Enterprise Architecture
- Data modeling concepts like Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Kimball modeling, 3NF normalization
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), security, networking, disaster recovery
- Data engineering frameworks and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Snowpark, PySpark, DataFrames)
- Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, SAS) and analytics techniques
- AI/ML fundamentals including classification, clustering, NLP, language models
Strong leadership, communication skills, and experience in industries like Financial Services, Retail, or Healthcare are advantageous. Presence in Germany with the ability to travel occasionally is expected.
