What you accomplish
- Take into account the strengths and areas for improvement of employees, and provide appropriate guidance for their development - Act as a coach when instructions are applied incorrectly - Set and monitor the annual objectives of your employees, including progress reviews - Ensure the level of training, learning progress and supervision of new employees and apprentices - Ensure that training and development needs are identified, and submit proposals to your superior - Implement development and training opportunities on the ground - Promote the creation of a talent pool within your area of responsibility by adopting appropriate measures and managing it - Ensure that open positions are filled - Conduct recruitment interviews in accordance with internal standards - Ensure optimal matching between candidate profiles and job requirements - Identify candidates’ skills in internal recruitments and strengthen them when necessary - Ensure professional application of merchandise and sales concepts - Ensure implementation of marketing plans and mandatory guidelines on site, in accordance with established concepts - Propose, if necessary, adjustments to the assortment or removal of items - Supervise inventory management, wage costs, product management, turnover, maintenance and smooth running of the branch, while optimising expenses - Plan human resources proactively within the branch and guarantee necessary replacements - Ensure that merchandise ordering processes are respected - Enforce processes related to merchandise handling - Supervise discounts, returns, delivery discrepancies and inventories - Make quantity adjustments when necessary
What you bring
- Education: Federal diploma - Professional experience: Minimum 2 years of experience managing a retail branch - Excellent knowledge of the food retail sector - Mastery of specific areas related to branch management - Solid understanding of safety, hygiene rules and current regulations - Formal and/or continuing education in management and leadership - Strong personal initiative and self-management skills - Ability to solve problems flexibly and effectively - Willingness to adapt to change and continuously develop - Entrepreneurial spirit and results orientation - Proficiency with digital tools and skills - Ability to collaborate effectively and develop networks - Strong customer satisfaction focus - Empathy and ability to manage conflicts diplomatically - Excellent communication and knowledge sharing skills - Ability to supervise, motivate and develop a team - Proven expertise in sales techniques - French (B1)
