Responsibilities Within the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) framework, the Senior Cash Management Sales contributes to the delivery of the global financial trajectory by:
Being the main client entry point for all Cash Management related topics.
Actively contributing to central initiatives such as Account Bank Role, Payment Service providers, and Non‑Bank Financial Institutions.
Supporting new client development.
Contributing to the achievement of the client’s commercial objectives.
Taking responsibility for outbound client penetration in his/her area of expertise in close alignment with local Sales.
Cooperating closely with other Sales products (Trade and Factoring) to jointly develop client strategy, revenue, and profitability in line with business rules and strategic initiatives.
Applying expert knowledge of Payments & Cash Management (PCM) products to understand client needs and commercial and operational implications.
Delivering a global business development strategy for their area of product expertise per client and acquiring new business.
Aligning product development strategy with the GTB Sales client strategy.
Tasks and Responsibilities Commercial
Active interaction with clients on product‑specific complex structures.
Interaction with local product manager and central product team regarding client needs.
Sharing competitive information on market developments.
Handling complex structures and overseeing implementation projects, including contract negotiations.
Interaction with PCM colleagues in the network.
Developing client strategy for PCM business growth.
Ensuring action plans on "Golden Rules" and profitability are followed.
Keeping GTB Senior Sales Manager informed on critical client topics.
Operational
Escalation point in case of specific situations from the day‑to‑day processing of PCM transactions.
Escalation point for product service failures, interaction with MO/BO teams accordingly.
Ensuring regular interaction with clients regarding service quality and collecting related feedback.
Growth of the PCM business with clients of their portfolio.
Ensuring the credit process is correctly and timely kicked off in coordination with GTB Sales.
Ensuring the risk appetite framework is complied with, including the contribution of the desk to respect of GTPS risk appetite statement, notably country limits and sectorial limits.
Required – Profile Studies & Experience
10+ years’ experience within GTB/PCM.
Knowledge of the Austrian payments and cash management market is advantageous.
In‑depth knowledge of credit processes, documentation, and risk management.
Language Skills
German: C2.
English: C1.
French considered a plus.
Technical, Operational & Soft Skills
Detailed knowledge of PCM processes and product implications, including risk.
Solution‑oriented and flexible working style.
Pro‑active team player.
Collaborative leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and influence business relationships at all levels.
