Job – Senior Security Engineer
Location – 2-3 days onsite in Langenfeld, Rhineland
I am recruiting for a dynamic and growing IT security service and consulting company, founded in 2014, with offices in Langenfeld (Rhineland). This is a great opportunity to be a part of global projects with leading companies in Germany, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in the security domain. Your role
- Engage in complex projects focused on IT security and provide support for security-sensitive customer environments.
- Explore emerging technology trends and contribute to innovative solution design.
- Evaluate threat landscapes, analyze existing environments, and recommend optimizations.
- Provide expertise in designing, deploying, and managing various security and networking technologies, including SD-WAN, CASB, firewalls, web & email security, load balancers, remote access solutions, IAM, endpoint security, and more.
- Handle service requests, configure solutions, and implement measures to reduce network and security incidents.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in IT security, networking, IT infrastructure, operating systems, and web technologies.
- Proficiency with technologies and certifications from leading providers such as Cisco, F5 Networks, Check Point, Palo Alto, Microsoft, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an organized and team-oriented approach.
- Interest in continuous learning and staying updated on evolving technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in both German (fluent) and English (advanced).
