At our Saarlouis site, we are specialists in hot forming of structural components.
To strengthen our team at our plant in the “Lisdorfer Berg” industrial area in Saarlouis, we are looking for an Accounting & Tax Coordinator (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.
In this responsible position, you will take on key responsibilities in the areas of financial accounting, taxation, and reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory and internal
requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for the proper and legally compliant archiving of accounting and tax documents
- Preparation and compilation of documents for authorities, external parties, auditors, and audits
- Implementation and monitoring of changes in legal and regulatory requirements
- Calculation, review, and validation of the company's tax obligations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
- Preparation and responsibility for key financial statements and reports, particularly the balance sheet, income statement, and notes to the financial statements
- Preparation, coordination, and reconciliation of the annual financial statements
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports and evaluations
- Cooperation with management, the executive board, auditors, tax advisors, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Participation in the further development and optimization of accounting and tax processes
Your Profile
- You have a structured and analytical approach and bring professional experience in accounting and taxation.
- A completed degree in accounting, business administration, management, or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, further training as a Certified Accountant or a comparable qualification
- Good knowledge of IFRS and, ideally, German accounting standards under HGB
- Good knowledge of taxation and tax obligations
- Professional experience in accounting and tax is an advantage
- Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports is required
- Experience in an industrial environment is desirable
- Confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
- Independent, accurate, and reliable working style
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage several tasks and topics simultaneously
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
