Our IoT group is building a team of systems thinkers passionate about IoT and solving socio-technical challenges. We make knowledge and expertise that enable us to design and scale enterprise IoT solutions. We are a distributed team and leverage this to our advantage for customer success and work-life balance.

IF YOU ARE

• Interested in IoT and experienced with relevant technologies such as MQTT brokers, embedded programming, distributed systems, microservices architecture, infrastructure automation, edge processing, fleet observability, or wireless communications
• Experienced with software and hardware lifecycles
• Strong in object-oriented software development
• Confident in leading or mentoring a technical team
• Skilled in recognizing architectural patterns and solutions
• Understanding tradeoffs between cloud and other IoT solutions
• Certified with SEI Software Architecture and ATAF
• Published in the field of IoT cloud or devices
• Knowledgeable of Linux OS for ARM and x86, hypervisors, hardware root of trust, and PKI
• Hands-on with network theory and wireless communications
• Proficient with infrastructure automation tools
• Certified as a professional by at least one cloud provider
• Excellent communicator in German and English

• Lead a team on large, strategic IoT solutions
• Drive architectural services such as Discovery and Assessment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate constraints
• Facilitate stakeholder cooperation and define architectural priorities
• Work with architects and experts to make solid architectural decisions
• Lead technical discussions and define system quality attributes
• Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality architecture visions
• Establish architecture strategies, standards, and tools
• Estimate solutions and construct roadmaps
• Assess existing architectures using the Architecture Trade-off Analysis methodology
• Advise development teams on standards adherence
• Communicate technical ideas clearly to teams
