We develop innovative software solutions to optimize the productivity and reliability of Db2 z/OS databases, as well as tools for monitoring and performance optimization for Db2 LUW databases.

Responsibilities

• Soon after starting, assist with current issues with test customers by recommending the least necessary Db2 security settings to ensure Java application functionality.
• Proactively map Db2 security settings from Cobol access to Java access.
• Recommend customized and trusted context settings ranging from \“read-only Db2\“ to \“read and write Db2\“ and \“create objects in Db2\“.
• Proactively create a Db2 instance simulating over 100 typical Db2 security settings used by Cobol clients of large companies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Db2 security settings via Java for enterprise clients.
• Development skills in COBOL and Java.
• Knowledge of RACF, ACF2, TOPSECRET, etc.
