We are expanding and are looking for the following to strengthen our customer team as soon as possible in Weßling (Oberpfaffenhofen): a Stress Technical Leader (m/w/d)
MISSIONS:
- Identify the applicable regulation requirements and define the means needed to demonstrate conformity. In some cases, the requirements and means may be defined by the customer.
- Propose and deploy analysis methods in accordance with state of the art or customer-defined referential.
- Provide reports of analysis results and propose improvements in case these results do not meet the requirements.
- Draw up stress analysis notes or certification documents (dossiers, ACD…).
- Participate in evolving the product concept all along the development and then in the serial phase, based on the feedback regarding detected issues (during test campaigns, in production, or in operations).
- Report to the supervisor regarding the progress of activities.
- Meet the imparted targets for completion of the deliverables produced.
- Contribute to lessons learned.
- Interface with customer’s main stakeholders as well as customer’s suppliers to ensure maturity and availability of data.
- Develop, identify, and adjust stress techniques, assumptions, data, and procedures for metallic and composite structures.
DESIRED PROFILE:
- Degree in Engineering in the area of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, etc.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Aerospace field in a specific domain (FEM, static, dynamic, vibration, F&DT, composites…).
- New aircraft development experience (CS25).
- Working experience with CAE Tools NASTRAN / PATRAN / HYPERMESH; VBA knowledge is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of strength, stability, and residual strength analysis of aircraft structural components.
- Good knowledge of aircraft structural components: Primary and Secondary structures, Floor structures, cabin interiors components, Galley, etc.
- Good knowledge of load path study and solution provider based on engineering optimization techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
- English minimum B2; German is an advantage (min. B1).
