Overview
Experienced Team Lead to manage and grow a 10+ member Quant/Financial Engineering team within Solactive’s QIS/Structuring function. You will combine quantitative expertise with people leadership to deliver quant investment strategies, structured solutions, and analytical tools for institutional clients. You’ll collaborate across Portfolio Management, Indexing, Risk, Legal, and Tech, driving governance, client engagements, and cross‑border initiatives. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to shape scalable quant product offerings in a global fintech environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and develop a 10+ person team of quantitative analysts, model developers, and product engineers; set priorities and allocate resources.
- Oversee design, modelling, and delivery of quantitative investment strategies (QIS) and structured solutions; ensure governance and model robustness.
- Coordinate client projects, research initiatives, and product innovation with cross‑functional teams.
- Represent the team in client meetings, pitches, and industry events; translate complex quantitative concepts for senior stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration across Frankfurt, Toronto, and Hong Kong and drive performance through coaching and accountability.
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 10+ years of experience in Quantitative Asset Management, Investment Banking Structuring/QIS, or related quantitative fields.
- Proven leadership experience with quants/engineers or readiness for first‑line management with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong understanding of derivatives, index methodologies, and systematic investment strategies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R; ability to discuss technical concepts fluently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex quantitative topics for diverse audiences.
