As a People Business Partner you’ll be a trusted advisor to our leaders – helping shape how we grow, reward and support our teams. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands‑on problem solving using data empathy and a good dose of curiosity to make Solaris an even better place to work.

Your Role

  • Leadership Consultation: Partner closely with leaders providing coaching and consulting support on talent development, performance management and reward.
  • Capacity Planning & Workforce Design: Support teams with capacity planning, organizational design and workforce planning to align with evolving business needs.
  • Performance Management: Design and manage performance management cycle, analyse performance trends and provide guidance to leaders on constructive feedback, performance issues and improvement plans.
  • Compensation and Benefits Management: Manage and oversee regular compensation cycles including budgeting salary adjustments, bonuses and equity distributions; develop and execute new remuneration initiatives that are competitive and compliant with regulations.
  • Job Architecture and Salary Bands: Conduct job mapping and evaluation to define roles, responsibilities and the value of positions; administer and further develop salary bands to keep Solaris competitive.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Analyse compensation structure, create reporting for management and make data‑driven recommendations for improvements.

Depending on your level of experience your responsibilities and scope of role will range. We don’t care much about fancy titles but rather about real personal and professional development as laid out in our learning framework.

  • Proven experience in a People / HR Business Partner role within a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
  • Background in consulting and coaching leaders across different seniority levels.
  • Knowledge in reporting, building compensation models, conducting compensation analysis, performing salary benchmarking and reporting.
  • Great project management planning and stakeholder management skills – you keep things organized and communicate clearly.
  • Understanding of organisational design business context and how people strategy connects to company goals.
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, HR reporting tools and other data analytics and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • A proactive, curious and collaborative attitude – you don’t just identify problems you help solve them.
  • Experience developing HR policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements is a nice to have.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Working Model

  • Based in Berlin – or ready to relocate here from the start.
  • We work in a hybrid setup and expect you to be in the office two days per week to connect with your peers and business partners.
