Your Role

1. Provide continuous advice on the enhancement of products for existing cooperation partners across various business units.
2. Support the onboarding of new cooperation partners and products.
3. Assess Third Party Risk Assessments (TPRA) and modify operational processes and structures (MOPS).
4. Prepare and implement training courses.
5. Monitor the performance of cooperation partners regarding AFC compliance issues and communicate with the respective partner managers.
6. Extend documentation of processes.
7. Provide instruction and professional support for employees and cooperation partners.
8. Coordinate BaFin requests and liaise with internal and external auditors.
9. Prepare the Annual AFC Report, German ExCo report, and governance documentation.

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in anti-financial crime compliance within the financial services industry, focusing on advisory and strategy development.
• In-depth knowledge of German and EU regulations related to anti-money laundering, sanctions, and fraud prevention.
• Proven track record of leading successful AFC initiatives, including risk assessments, policy development, and control implementation.
• Experience with local regulators is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure, with different priorities and tight deadlines.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS or ACAMS are preferred.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
