Since 2014, Solora has been building a sustainable energy future. We design, build, and manage industrial solar installations in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France, and with more than 80 employees, we have grown into a recognized player in the sector.

Our customers rely on us to take care of every aspect of their energy journey: from solar energy and storage (BESS) to energy management (EMS). That relationship of trust begins with construction, but stands or falls on what comes next: installations that continue to perform day after day.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for an HR Generalist who will help manage day-to-day HR operations and, under the guidance of the Group HR Manager, contribute to the further professionalization of HR within Solora. You’ll combine operational responsibility with room for initiative and development.

What does the role entail?

As an HR Generalist, you’ll be a key point of contact within our organization. You’ll support employees and managers with day-to-day HR questions and be involved in the most important moments of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development and separation.

You’ll combine day-to-day HR responsibilities with improvement initiatives and HR projects. Within clearly defined priorities, you’ll have the freedom to work independently, make proposals, and further develop your skills in a broad-based HR role.

  • You manage personnel files and HR documentation accurately and confidentially.
  • You closely monitor contracts, absences, and personnel administration.
  • You support payroll preparation and collaborate with external partners for this purpose.
  • You monitor and optimize the quality, efficiency, and user-friendliness of HR processes.
  • You take ownership of onboarding, offboarding, and administrative HR processes.

Point of contact for employees and managers

  • You will support employees throughout their entire employee journey.
  • You will assist managers in implementing HR processes and coordinate more complex HR issues with the Group HR Manager.
  • You are an approachable and reliable point of contact for HR-related questions.
  • You actively contribute to a positive work culture where people can grow and engage.

Attracting and Developing Talent

  • You take ownership of the recruitment of operational and support staff, from initial contact and job posting to screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • You’ll ensure a professional candidate experience and keep candidates and relevant managers informed in a timely manner throughout the selection process.
  • You will organize effective onboarding programs for new colleagues.
  • You’ll support the practical organization and follow-up of training programs, development initiatives, and performance reviews, in collaboration with the Group HR Manager and managers.
  • You support employer branding initiatives by helping to develop job posting content, communications, and collaborations with relevant partners.

HR Projects and Optimization

  • You’ll contribute to projects focused on employee experience, well-being, and engagement.
  • You’ll support the continued digitization and optimization of HR processes, tools, and systems, including Odoo.
  • You’ll actively contribute ideas for improvements and new HR initiatives.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in international and organization-wide HR projects.

Collaboration with the Group HR Manager

You’ll work closely with the Group HR Manager and support her in the preparation and practical implementation of HR policy, Compensation & Benefits, management support, organizational development, HR budgets, and reporting. Complex social and labor law cases are managed by the Group HR Manager, and you will gather relevant information and assist with follow-up.

Why are you a good fit for Solora?

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a broad HR role.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of French is a plus and offers the opportunity to eventually assist with HR contacts and projects in France.
  • You set priorities, monitor deadlines, and keep HR files organized and accurate.
  • You handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • You have a solution‑oriented mindset and take initiative.

Why is Solora a good fit for you?

  • You’ll serve as a key partner to the Group HR Manager and have the opportunity to further develop yourself in a broad HR role.
  • You’ll be working in an international environment with operations in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.
  • You can truly make an impact on the organization’s growth.
  • You’ll be given a great deal of autonomy and trust.
  • You’ll be part of a stable company that’s rapidly expanding.
  • You’ll help build a greener future.

What can you expect from Solora?

  • Solora offers you a varied role in an organization where expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, energy, and loyalty form the foundation of everything we do.
  • You’ll receive a compensation package commensurate with your experience and responsibilities, supplemented by fringe benefits such as meal vouchers, eco‑vouchers, a bicycle lease, hospitalization insurance, group insurance, and a performance‑based annual bonus.
  • You’ll be provided with an electric company car to easily travel to our various divisions in Belgium and the Netherlands—and eventually in France as well.
  • Solora offers a part‑time, permanent employment contract (32 hours per week), with responsibilities and priorities tailored to your chosen work schedule. Full‑time employment is negotiable.
  • You’ll receive 16 days of statutory leave and 7 ADV days, calculated based on your work schedule.
