Program Coordinator Temporary contract / Glion, Switzerland

Responsibilities
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of academic programs, ensuring smooth delivery, effective planning, and adherence to deadlines
Serve as the primary point of contact for students, providing guidance, support, and timely responses to inquiries
Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and retention, identifying issues and implementing appropriate support measures
Ensure compliance with academic policies, procedures, and quality standards while maintaining a positive student experience
Collaborate with Program Directors, faculty, and internal departments (Registry, Admissions, Marketing, IT, Operations) to support program delivery
Manage and maintain academic systems, learning platforms, and program documentation, ensuring data accuracy and accreditation compliance
Coordinate faculty and visiting lecturers, including course setup, scheduling, administrative support, and quality assurance processes
Plan and organize academic and student-related events, such as inductions, field trips, boot camps, committee meetings, and graduation activities
Oversee administrative and budget-related processes, including purchase orders, vendor invoices, and program-related expenditures
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and foster effective collaboration within the Program Coordination team by sharing best practices and supporting departmental objectives
Profile and experiences
Master’s degree – Bachelor degree acceptable depending on prior experience and other credentials, both preferred in hospitality management or business
Demonstrated interest or experience in supporting the delivery of educational programs
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to operate autonomously
Several years of work experience preferably in the hospitality industry or in the field of education
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English
