For the Shopping Center Mercaden Böblingen , we are looking for a parental leave substitution, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site (Böblingen) as

MARKETING SPECIALIST (m/f/d)

You will be responsible for marketing at local shopping center level with the following main tasks:

1. Contribution to the development of a product strategy
2. Development and implementation of a marketing plan in accordance with the strategic guidelines
3. Development and implementation of all offline and online measures defined in the marketing plan, such as events, advertising campaigns, social media communication, customer loyalty activities
4. Monitoring and evaluation of the marketing activities carried out
5. Management of creative, event, social media, PR and media agencies
6. Observation and analysis of competitors and the local market to define best-practice examples
7. Carrying out market research projects, analyzing the results and deriving suitable measures
8. Supervision of the voucher system
9. Creating Marketing reports, preparing and giving presentations
10. Communication with tenants and maintaining tenant relationships
11. Marketing Budget responsibility
12. Vacancy management, with a focus on creative solutions for long term vacancies

In addition, you will have the following responsibilities:

1. Assist in the management of the Shopping Centre, ensuring the quality of the services provided to customers and tenants
2. Coordinate and prepare all report information for both owner and management
3. Monitor the budget of common expenses, in order to detect and explain disparities
4. Support the processes of invoicing and purchase order management

What we would like from you:

1. Completed subject-related studies or apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
2. 2-3 years of experience in a marketing department or agency, experience in shopping centers or retail is a plus
3. Experience in event and project management
4. Flair for graphic design, affinity for social media
5. Fluent in German and good English skills (both languages mandatory)
6. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage external service providers
7. Open-minded, creative, proactive, resilient and a team player
