- Shape secure product and cloud architectures with design‑stage collaboration
- Review architectures and AWS environments to embed security in decisions
- Lead security assurance initiatives and deploy advanced security tools
- Plan and manage independent security assessments, pentests, and red-team exercises; translate findings into improvements
- Investigate security findings, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes
- Lead investigations of customer security concerns with rigor and empathy; participate in on‑call shifts if needed
- Monitor threat intelligence and translate into prioritized risks and actions
- Improve and automate security processes to increase quality, speed, and visibility of security work

- Extensive experience with application and cloud architectures, especially AWS
- Experience in application security assessments including authn/authz design review
- Experience securing AI/agentic AI capabilities; appetite to define best practices
- Experience with threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE)
- Experience with penetration testing, red-team engagements, and bug-bounty programs
- Experience investigating and remediating vulnerabilities
- Experience using AI to automate security tasks; interest in building security tools
- Familiarity with Azure, GCP, and Google Workspace is a plus
