Overview
In this role you will drive ML research and practical AI solutions for Sonar's code analysis engine. You will push the boundaries of ML, DL, and LLMs to improve static analysis, identify bugs and vulnerabilities, and enhance code quality at scale. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to turn research into features used by millions of developers. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead cutting-edge ML research and identify opportunities to enhance products in the SDLC context
- Design, prototype, and validate novel ML models to detect and remediate code issues
- Build and integrate LLM-based features, including RAG pipelines and model fine-tuning on proprietary codebases
- Engineer robust data pipelines for large code-centric datasets used in training and evaluation
- Translate research prototypes into production features aligned with user needs
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in CS, ML, or related quantitative field
- Strong ML experience with software engineering practices and tools
- Proficient in Python; hands-on with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face; Java knowledge a plus
- Experience in NLP or Programming Language Processing (PLP)
- Hands-on with LLM architectures and techniques (LoRA, QLoRA), RAG, vector databases, semantic search
- Experience with large-scale data processing and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
