Overview
Join Sonar in Geneva as a senior researcher shaping enterprise-grade coding agents and post-training LLMs. You’ll bridge research and product, translating prototypes into deployable solutions that help customers enforce high-quality AI-generated code. You’ll work with a cross-disciplinary team to push the next generation of agent-centric software, contributing to cutting-edge post-training and data-centric AI methods. This role offers impactful work at the forefront of AI governance and software reliability.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and implement advanced products enabling post-trained models for agentic coding
- Collaborate with researchers, MLOps, and engineers to convert proofs-of-concept into products
- Contribute ideas and drive next-generation coding model post-training for enterprises
- Lead and communicate complex research concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, ML, or related quantitative field (Master’s or PhD)
- 4+ years of industry ML experience with modern software engineering practices and tools
- Fluency in Python with core ML frameworks; experience with Rust or SonarQube's flagship languages (C#, C++, JS/TS, Java) is a plus
- Expertise in post-training of large language models (policy optimization, RL frameworks, SFT, data-centric AI, PEFT, Preference and Safety Alignment)
- Experience driving research projects from findings to product-ready prototypes
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly
